FOUNDER

Hello, I am Najuma James, founder of Najee Creations, based in Toronto Ontario.  I am 2010 Alumni with a degree in fashion design with a concentration in textiles, apparel, and merchandising from the International Academy of Design. Early on, I was aware of a gift and passion for arts and design. At 15 years of age I worked hard and perfected my gift of art. I was excited to be accepted into the International Academy of Design where I studied interior design. I felt appreciated and thankful to explore and extensively learn many genres of art and design. My eye and vision became stronger for fashion a decor. I have always possessed a strong work ethic as well as the importance of goal setting. Both of these attributes were vital in being accepted for my success in securing admission into the International Academy of Design. My curriculum required me to take several interior design classes that led me on a journey of vast inspiration, knowledge of many aspects of color variation, textile choices, design, excellence in artistic vision and fashion merchandising. It all assisted me in my career path in home decor and fashion.
